Sunchaser Investments is an avocado orchard located on Motiti Island, 12 km off the Papamoa coast and 20km from the Port of Tauranga. The Island location offers an ideal environment for avocado production and the added attraction of idyllic lifestyle options, including boating, fishing and diving.

The Orchard is fully serviced by an efficient logistics operation including a 25 metre landing barge with roll on roll off capability, high quality grass airstrip and a full complement of vehicles and plant which enable the orchard to operate with complete independence and efficiency.

Infrastructure includes a Manager’s house, workers’ lodge, fully equipped workshop together with two implement sheds. Large water retention dams provide irrigation to part of the orchard. Power is provided by diesel generator and rain water is collected for domestic use.

Sunchaser is a truly unique, 145ha freehold property, professionally developed and managed to the stage where it is considered one of New Zealand’s pre-eminent avocado orchards.
